Dedication to Mario Rivera
Dr. Mario A. Rivera, Regent’s Professor of Public Administration at the University of New Mexico, USA passed away suddenly in early December. Until about a year ago and for eight years he was the Senior Associate Editor of The Innovation Journal (TIJ). He had been an associate of Dr. Everett Rogers, the dean of innovation studies, who had also been a member of TIJ Editorial Board. Dr. Rivera published a number of articles in The Innovation Journal, co-edited a symposium issue and co-authored a review of the first twenty years of the Journal. He was a valued colleague and we miss him. This issue of TIJ is dedicated to Dr. Rivera.
