Eva Sørensen is Professor of Public Administration and Democracy at Roskilde University in Denmark, and Professor II at Univerity of Bodø in Norway. She is Vice Director of the Centre for Democratic Network Governance at Roskilde University, where she is also currently Director of a large Research project, CLIPS, on collaborative innovation in the public sector. She has been Director of the National Danish PhD school and the PhD school in Society and Globalization at Roskilde University for a number of years. Her research interests focus on the impact of interactive forms of governance on the promotion of effective, democratic and innovative public governance, and the role of politicians, public administrators, citizens and business actors in interactive governance processes. A specific focus is on how politicians can enhance their capacity for innovative political leadership though collaboration with relevant and affected actors.
